Chris and Samantha chose the beautiful Rustic Oaks for both their ceremony and reception.
The Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony was held behind 'The Homestead' with a beautiful backdrop of trees and prairie. Rustic Oaks and I teamed up to provide microphones and music with one of Chris's groomsmen playing a wonderful song on his guitar during the sand poring. The ceremony was nice for all 250+ guests. After being declared husband and wife they celebrated with their recessional to 'Shut Up and Dance by WALK THE MOON'!
I introduced the bridal party to the old Jock Jams classic, 'Pump Up The Jam by Technotronic'! During dinner we changed things up and instead of everyone clinking their glasses in order for Chris and Sam to kiss, they had a GIANT 'kissing bell' set up! This was an awesome idea that they came up with and the guests loved it!
After the sugar rush of eating the amazing cupcakes the dance begin! Their first dance was 'Mean to Me by Brett Eldredge'. Sam's father Tom joined her next and they danced to 'Beautiful Day by U2', everyone was singing along. Then Chris was joined by his mother Pam as they danced to 'You're Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins'. Then the barn was filled with family and friends dancing and the floor didn't empty until our time was up! I remember after playing a set of 90's pop songs Sam came over to me and stated I needed to stop playing such good songs as her feet where starting to hurt ;). We ended the night all surrounding Chris and Sam singing 'Don't Stop Believin' '.
