9.1.19 Ty and Emily celebrated their marriage with family and friends with ceremony, dinner, and dance at Fair Hill Resort in Detroit Lakes.
Fair Hills has many locations to hold your ceremony and Ty and Emily chose to have theirs in the beautiful 'Hollow' location. I provided sound for their ceremony with parents walking into 'The Chapel of Love by The Dixie Cups', the wedding party walking into 'Swept Away by The Avett Brothers', and Emily and her father walking down the isle to 'Here Come The Sun (Acoustic) by The Beatles'.
After reciting personalized vows and being introduced as the new Mr. and Mrs. they exited to 'When You Love Somebody by Fruit Bats'.
The DInner & Dance
We introduced their wedding party to 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder'.
During their delicious dinner we did a fun trivia kissing activity! This consisted of, when guests would clink their glasses I would choose a table and ask them a trivia question about Ty and Emily that we had come up with beforehand. If the table was able to get the answer correct Ty and Emily would kiss, and if the table got it wrong, someone at that table to kiss. This was a hit!! After dinner we left the dining room with at sparkler exit and headed to the pavilion for the dance! Ty and Emily had their first dance to 'Amsterdam by Gregory Alan Isakov'. Then Emily's father joined her on the dance floor to 'Wildflower by Tom Petty'. Ty was then joined by his mother as they danced to 'At Last by Etta James'.
We spent the rest of the night with a packed dance floor and playing some Van Morrison, James Brown, Little Richard, Post Malone, Mystikal, and Notorious BIG.
