Rosholt SD Community Center Wedding For Matthew and Mackenzie

August 14, 2019

7.6.19 In the presence of their close family and friends at St. John's Catholic Church - Rosholt SD, Matthew and Mackenzie officially became husband and wife! Their reception and danced followed at the Rosholt Community Center.

The Dinner

Guests arrive to a beautiful room decorated by the bride and grooms family. After social hour guests found their seats and the wedding party made their entrance to 'You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall & Oates'! Dinner was served buffet style and Matthew and Mackenzie had asked for me to dismiss the tables. I really enjoy doing this as I like to get trivia questions from the couple and have the tables answer one the them correctly in order to be dismissed. This tends to be an awesome conversation starter and ice breaker for those at the tables who may not know each other very well. We ended dinner with dessert and speeches as we moved to clearing the floor of tables for the dance.

The Dance

Matthew and Mackenzie started us off by having their first dance as husband and wife to 'Lost In This Moment by Big & Rich'. Mackenzie was then joined by her father Kelly as they danced to 'Just Fishin' by Trace Adkins'. Matthew and his mother then took the dance floor to 'Never Alone by Jim Brickman'. Before opening the dance floor we took our #FuzeFamily photo and then away we went! Dancing to songs new and old!

Mackenzie's parents were celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary the day of the wedding and Matthew's parents were having their 30th wedding anniversary on July 15th. Later in the night, even though their parents did not want their anniversaries to take away from their big day, both Matthew and Mackenzie stated they wanted to do something special for them. We decided to clear the dance floor and allow both their parents as well as Matthew and Mackenzie to have a slow dance to what their parents remembered to be their first dance songs at their weddings. We ended the night to 'It's a Great Day To Be Alive by Travis Tritt'!
