6.16.18 Jake and Marta made it official while celebrating with family and friends at Luther Crest Bible Camp.
Jake and Marta said their I Do's on site at the camp chapel. As they made their recessional from the chapel they had their family and friends throw confetti, it was so cool! Marta, Jake, and I worked together before their wedding and came up with some 'Voted Most Likely To...' answers about each of their bridal party members. This is what we used to introduce them to the guests and the things they came up with did not disappoint :). After the new Mr. & Mrs. were introduced for the second time they went straight into their first dance, 'Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Beyonce'. Marta & Jake decided that throughout dinner if guests wanted them to kiss they would have to donate to their honeymoon fund, but there was a bit of a twist. The higher the dollar amount the better the kiss! They got very creative with their kisses and by the end of dinner we had Jake hanging upside down doing his version of the spider man kiss!
As speeches wrapped up Jake asked his mother to join him for a dance. They danced to '93 Million
Miles by Jason Maraz'. Marta was then joined by her father as they danced to 'Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder'. Both Jake and Marta took the time before their wedding to work with me on recording a special message to be played over each of the dances with their parents. All I have to say is after they both got done with these dances there wasn't a dry eye in the house. I was so glad they took the time to do this with me! We then packed everyone onto the dance floor for a group picture, hit the music, and we never looked back! The night consisted of impromptu performances to songs from 'The Greatest Showman', belting out to Beyonce, and jamming out to songs of off a playlist Marta and her college friends listened to with artist like '50 Cent', 'Missy Elliot', 'V.I.C.' and 'Snoop Dog'!
Marta and Jake also choose to use our Social Photo Booth and selected the 'Green Hedge' back droop. The guests loved it! Over 400 photos were taken during cocktail hour and dance!
