3.24.18 Mr. and Mrs. Tanner and Kora Spicer said 'I DO' and celebrated their marriage with just shy of 400 family and friends at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks!
The Cocktail Hour
Guest were welcomed into a beautiful ballroom decorated and coordinated by the amazingly talented Sadie's Couture Floral & Event Styling. From the beautiful cakes and the amber uplighting, to the tables with pinspots shining down on the about 5ft tall centerpiece arrangements, this all set the mood right away! During cocktail hour guests listened to a playlist that Kora and I had worked on prior to the wedding to include her and her mothers favorite 'love' songs. After about an hour, it was time for the bridal party introductions. We introduced the bridal party to 'The Best by Tina Turner', chosen by Tanner and Kora. Following the introductions Tanner and Kora had a brief first dance for their guests to 'Say It Again by Don Williams'. Guest then enjoyed an amazing meal followed by some tear jerking toasts...
We begin the dance with Tanner and Kora having their (second) first dance to a song Tanner surprised her with, 'Love Your Love The Most by Eric Church'. Then Kora's father joined her on the dance floor to 'Forever Young by Rod Stewart'. Tanner and his mother danced to another song Tanner chose as a surprise, 'Sinners Like Me by Eric Church'. From a mix of old country, 80's rock, and top 40 we danced the night away! The evening wrapped up with Tanner and Kora being surrounded by a full dance floor of family and friends to 'Perfect by Ed Sheeran'.
